Yvonne Faddis-Stroud is a pianist that loves beautiful, strong and dynamic melodies, the kind that stick in your brain and have you humming or singing in the shower. She'll play an eclectic mix of songs from TV shows, movies, westerns, ballet, opera, Broadway musicals, blues, rock and jazz featuring her own arrangements. She will also test your memory to see if you can guess the titles of some songs, and for a final treat will play requests. So brush up on your music history and plan to have a wonderful time!

This concert will feature the Chicago-based Jan Sobieski String Quartet. The program will include works by Tchaikovsky and the contemporary American composer Kenji Bunch.
