Electric Aggregation Program

The village recently awarded an electric aggregation contract to Verde Energy to supply Oak Brook' s 2014 electric aggregation program.  Verde was the low bidder in a competitive bidding process with a price of $.05184/kwh.  This is lower than Com Ed's current rate of $.06/kwh. The village's initial electric aggregation program which started in 2011 significantly reduced eligible residents and businesses electric bills.

Residents who are currently enrolled in the village’s aggregation program with Integrys or Com Ed as their electric supplier will be receiving  a letter outlining the details of the program and how they can opt out if so desired. Residents who want to participate in the program do not need to take any action.
