This project, by IDOT this spring, replaces the existing temporary signal installations from the recent reconstruction/widening with a permanent modernized system.
It also significantly involves the removal of the concrete islands at the four corners of Jorie Boulevard/Enterprise Drive and the placement of crosswalk markings.
2010 Water Main Replacement (35th Street from Meyers Road to Cass Court and the north half of Timber Trails Subdivision)
- April to October
This project, from spring to fall, replaces over two miles of breaking old water main.
2010 Crack Sealing (various streets throughout the Village) - May
This project, in spring, places asphalt material over pavement cracks on the following streets: Forest Glen Subdivision Streets,
Commerce Drive, Hampton Drive, Lambeth Court, Regent Court, White Oak Lane, Windsor Drive (residential York Woods) & Fire Station #2 (22nd Street & Enterprise Drive).
2010 Paving (Tower Drive and 35th Street from Midwest Road to past Covington Court)- April to May
This project, in spring, repairs failing areas with deep patches and adds a new surface layer.
2010 Micro-Surfacing (York Road from north of Golf Drive to Harger Road) - May to September
This project, in summer, seals pavement cracking while providing a thin new wearing surface over the Village-owned parts of York Road (except between
the two Tollway bridges due to future work for a medical building). Much work will be done relatively quiet during nighttime.
22nd Street Reconstruction/Widening from Butterfield Road to Route 83 -July 2010 to December 2011

please contact the Engineering Department at 630-368-5130.
