Oak Brook Golf Club
Since
the early 1920s, golfers have enjoyed a challenging
round at one of DuPage County's oldest courses. The
Oak Brook Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course, owned
and operated by the Village of Oak Brook. Amenities
include an all-grass driving range, three putting
and chipping greens, fully stocked pro shop and excellent
dining facilities.
In 1999/2000, the Golf Club underwent a major expansion
and remodeling, doubling the size of the clubhouse
and installing a state-of-the-art double-row irrigation
system. Areas expanded include the locker rooms,
food service operation, patio and veranda. The golf
course and driving ranges are open April 1 through
November 1, weather permitting.
Several types of season memberships
are available, and the PGA professional staff offers clinics
and instructional programs for golfers of all ages. Golf
outings are available.
