The Oak Brook Library

The mission of the Library is to provide professional, responsive service and to promote the development of independent, self-confident and literate citizens through the provision of open access to cultural, recreational, intellectual and informational resources.

What privileges do I have with my Library card?
  • Borrow materials – any items in the circulating collections.
  • Reference service – Librarians will help you find information.
  • Program attendance – Many programs are open to Library card holders
  • Interlibrary loan – Librarians request materials from other libraries for you.
  • Reciprocal – You may use your card in most public libraries in Illinois.

Monday - Thursday: 9:30 to 9:00pm
Friday & Saturday:   9:30 to 5:00pm
Sunday:   1:00 - 5:00pm
