The DuPage County
Solid Waste Department sponsors one-day, mobile collection events
for residentially generated waste that is poisonous, flammable,
corrosive and/or reactive.
ACCEPTABLE
WASTES include: latex and oil-based paints, poisons, oil,
auto fluids, cleaners, photo or pool chemicals, pesticides, fertilizer,
mercury, fluorescent bulbs, and regular household batteries.
UNACCEPTABLE
WASTES include: auto batteries, ammunition, explosives,
propane tanks, fireworks, radioactive materials, medical waste,
fire extinguishers, agricultural waste and business waste
