Obtaining Police Reports
Requests for police reports may be made via mail or in person at the Oak Brook
Police Department, Records Department, 1200 Oak Brook Road, Oak Brook, Illinois between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. Property reports documenting lost or stolen property are available upon request for free.
Accident Reports
Copies of most accident reports are available through
Doc View at a cost of $11 each. Copies of accident reports involving crimes or deaths are subject to the rules cited under the Freedom of Information Act (Illinois Compiled Statutes, 5 ILCS 140/1-7).
Other Reports
Other types of police reports may be obtained by filing a
Freedom of Information Request via e-mail or in person, the Police Department located at 1200 Oak Brook Road, Oak Brook, Illinois during the hours of 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. These reports will be released according to the provisions outlined in the Act.
Parking Citation Payments
Parking citations may be paid by mail with the enclosed citation envelope. Please do not send cash. Payments may also be made in person at the Oak Brook Police Department, Records Section, 1200 Oak Brook Road, Oak Brook, Illinois. When making a payment, please write the citation number on your check.
Court Date
Court dates are only available for the party who received the parking ticket. In order to obtain a court date you will have to have a drivers license. Court is held on Wednesdays beginning at 8:30 A.M. at 3 Friendship Plaza in Addison, Illinois 60101. You must come in person to the Oak Brook Police Department in order to receive a court date.
