Illinois Saint Andrew Society Highland Games & Scottish
Festival:
| You can transport yourself “across the pond” to an entirely different cultural celebration
on Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21, when the Illinois Saint Andrew Society Highland Games &
Scottish Festival will take place at the Oak Brook Polo Grounds. This event is a
celebration of Scottish arts, culture, music, and piping, dance and athletic competitions.
The event begins with a party from 4 to 10 p.m. Friday evening, and continues on

Independence Day Celebration, Taste of Oak Brook and
Fireworks:
The
Village of Oak Brook Independence Day Celebration,
will take place on Thursday, July 3, The fireworks
will begin at dusk (approximately 9:30 p.m.) with
seating on Polo Field located at York Rd and
31st street. Entrance will be on 31st street
Handicapped viewing will be from the Christ Church
parking lot.
In Taste of Oak Brook food
and beverages will be available for purchase from
4:00 p.m. until dark. Novelties will be
available for cash purchase from vendors on the
field.
Parking
lots fill quickly, so make your plans to arrive
before 9:00 p.m., when the lots will close.
We strongly encourage you to carpool with your
friends and neighbors. Spectators will need
to observe all sign and traffic control personnel
carefully! |
Graue Mill’s Annual Antiques and Vintage Fair.:
| Head outdoors to the Oak Brook
Polo Fields to spend a leisurely “Day in the Country”
at Graue Mill’s 6th Annual Antiques and Vintage
Fair. This fair brings together the finest vendors
from near and far, and features antiques, furniture,
silver, garden items, music and food, as well as

Polo:
| Polo can be enjoyed every Sunday
throughout the summer, beginning July 6th and continuing
through mid September. Two games are played every
Sunday, at 1 and 3 p.m. Gather your family, friends
and co-workers and rediscover Oak Brook’s treasured
gem – the exciting sport of polo! Polo also provides
the perfect venue for parties, fundraisers and corporate

Autumn Festival:
| This year’s Autumn Festival,
on Sunday, September 21, promises to be bigger and
better than ever. This annual event offers fun for

Bath & Tennis Club at 630-368-6440. Membership is NOT
required to host an event at the Club. The Clubhouse and
surrounding grounds offer a perfect venue for any type

You are welcome at your Sports Core any time of year. Even if you choose not to
participate in any of the activities, come out and stroll the beautiful grounds of this
