The Oak Brook Zoning Board of Appeals is comprised of seven members who are recommended for appointment by the village president and confirmed by the Board of Trustees. The Zoning Board of Appeals holds Public Hearings regarding variations to the Zoning Ordinance and Stormwater Regulations, zoning map changes, text amendments to the Zoning Ordinance, special uses, zoning, and stormwater appeals (View the Petition Application Hearing Process (PDF) to see how the requests are processed). All requests submitted to the Zoning Board of Appeals shall be made on an official application form which can be obtained at the Development Services Department or can be downloaded from the Applications page.
