The Village Board passed an ordinance authorizing the Chief of Police to appoint ten part time Auxiliary Officers to assist the department. Their duties include traffic control details, aid in control of natural or man-made disasters, assist in special events and assist full-time Officers All Auxiliary Officers have graduated from a full-time basic training academy and continue their training through our department.
